Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 27 July 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to swivelin.com and the use of its pages, calendars, event listings, and forms (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Swivelin (“Swivelin”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Swivelin’s role

Swivelin is an event calendar and discovery service that brings together information about dance events in Geneva, French-speaking Switzerland, and nearby regions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Swivelin is not the organizer, venue, promoter, ticket seller, or payment provider for listed events. Publishing an event does not amount to an endorsement or guarantee from us.

2. Accuracy of information

We aim to provide useful and current information. Dates, times, prices, venues, programs, access conditions, availability, and cancellations may nevertheless be incomplete, inaccurate, or changed by organizers without notice.

Before travelling, booking, or incurring costs, you must verify important information directly with the relevant organizer, venue, or ticket provider.

3. Submissions and corrections

When you send us a poster, event, image, description, contact detail, link, or correction, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the rights and permissions needed to share it.

You grant Swivelin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, adapt, crop, translate, structure, publish, and promote your submission as part of the Service. You retain your rights in content you created.

We may verify, edit, refuse, remove, or archive any submission. Submission does not guarantee publication or continued availability.

4. AI-assisted curation

Swivelin may use automated or AI-assisted tools to read posters, extract information, translate, summarize, or standardize event listings. These tools can make mistakes.

Information prepared in this way may receive editorial review, but you remain responsible for checking important details with the official source.

5. Third-party services, tickets, and links

The Service may link to organizers, venues, social networks, maps, ticketing platforms, and other third-party services. We do not control their content, availability, security, practices, or terms.

Bookings, payments, refunds, cancellations, and event-related disputes are governed by the relevant provider’s terms. Swivelin is not a party to those transactions.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you must not:

  • submit false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, hateful, infringing, malicious, or unauthorized content;
  • interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service;
  • attempt to access non-public areas, accounts, data, or systems;
  • collect, copy, or reuse Service content at scale or systematically without our written permission;
  • use the Service in a way that violates the law or another person’s rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Swivelin name, Service design, code, original text, organization, and graphic elements belong to Swivelin or their respective owners and are protected by applicable law.

Posters, trademarks, photographs, and other third-party content remain the property of their owners. Their appearance on Swivelin gives you no right to reuse them.

8. Reports and removal requests

If you are an organizer or rights holder and believe information is incorrect, content was published without permission, or a listing should be removed, contact us with the relevant URL and enough detail to assess the request. We may ask for evidence of your identity or rights before acting.

9. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and as available. To the extent allowed by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, complete, or suitable for a particular need. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Swivelin is not liable for indirect loss, data loss, travel or ticket costs, cancellations, program changes, acts of organizers or third parties, or consequences of decisions made in reliance on a listing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

11. Suspension and changes

We may restrict access to the Service, block abusive activity, or remove a submission when necessary to protect the Service, its users, or third parties.

We may update these Terms. The revision date will appear at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a new version is published means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Canton of Geneva, except where the law requires another venue.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
